From signup to your first answer
Start in the mobile app. It opens your phone’s browser for secure registration and connection approval, then you return to the app. You never need to scan a QR code displayed on the same phone.
On iPhone, open the public TestFlight invitation above and install Hashmedo HITL through TestFlight. On Android, open the Firebase invitation above, sign up for testing and follow the installation prompts for Hashmedo Staging.
The beta-testing invitation gives you access to the download. You create your Hashmedo account in the next step.
Launch Hashmedo and tap Create account on the connection screen. The app opens the organization setup page in your phone’s browser. Enter your name, work email and organization name, then choose Starter · Free for the free option and tap Continue securely.
Already have a HITL beta account? Choose Connect on this iPhone on iPhone or Connect on this phone on Android instead, then sign in with your existing account. You do not need to create another organization.
You can also create your organization on the website ↗Open the verification email on this phone and follow its link. Complete the account and password setup prompts, then sign in to Hashmedo in your phone’s browser. If you are offered a choice of organizations, select the one you want to connect.
Use the same Hashmedo account throughout the connection steps below.
In the signed-in HITL website, open Settings → Mobile and tap Connect phone (or Connect another phone if you already have one). Keep this browser tab open.
Tap Open Hashmedo on this iPhone or Open Hashmedo on this Android phone. If your phone asks whether to open Hashmedo, allow it. The app opens and shows your account and a confirmation code.
Open phone connection ↗From the app, choose Return to browser to confirm on iPhone or Return to browser on Android. You can also switch back to the browser tab you kept open. Compare its code with the one shown in the app.
Once the codes match, tap Confirm phone on the website. If the browser still shows the connection link, tap I opened the app or scanned the code to display the confirmation step.
Switch back to Hashmedo. Once approval is received, the app opens your connected account; select your organization if prompted. Follow its notification guidance if you want alerts when an agent sends a message or needs your answer.
Your phone is now connected. You can use Messages and the other app tabs without keeping the browser open.
In your phone’s browser, open Agents, then your Test agent. Follow its tutorials to send a message or start a question flow. Return to Messages in the app, open the message and respond using the choices or fields provided. Follow the flow’s progress to see the agent continue after your answer.
Use Filters in Messages to choose an agent, search the agent list or return to All agents. Only agents with messages appear in that list.
Ready to connect your own agent? Follow the integration tutorial in its Runtime tab to connect supported Start and Stop controls.
Open your agents ↗Update the beta app, then try the phone-opening button again. You can also copy the Connection link from the browser’s Mobile page and switch to Hashmedo. On iPhone, choose Paste connection link. On Android, paste it into Connection link and tap Connect using link. Then return to the same browser tab to compare the code and tap Confirm phone.
If the connection expires, start a new connection from Settings → Mobile. If you prefer to use a computer, display its QR code there and choose Scan QR code in the mobile app.
